Five Things That Will Help You Improve Your Oral Health at Home
October 8, 2015 by Greg Knappstein

Your dental care regime doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive and we have identified five quick tips that can help improve it with minimal fuss.
- Replace your toothbrush every two or three months. Toothbrushes cannot do their job properly if they are worn.
- Brush a minimum of twice a day, preferably first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
- Brush your teeth for at least two minutes each time, spending around 30 seconds on each quarter or quadrant of your mouth.
- If you want to brush after eating, wait at least half an hour so your mouth is less acidic.
- Pick a dental floss you’re happy to use and make sure you floss once-a-day, preferably last thing at night. There are many different types of dental floss so experiment until you find one that is easy for you to use.
Need some advice on how to floss or brush more effectively? We are here to help so please just ask.
